2. Intended use
This 2.4 GHz surveillance system consists of an LCD monitor and a miniature
colour camera. The LCD monitor has an integrated SD card slot (max. SD card
capacity = 2GB; SDHC is not supported), an internal memory (approx. 32 MB) and
is thus able to record the camera images directly.
The compact 6.3 cm LCD monitor and the user-friendly OSD (=On Screen Display)
round off this high-quality system.
Video and audio transmission to the receiver takes place wireless at a frequency of
2.4 GHz (Gigahertz).
The monitor supports the playback of MPEG4, MP3, WMA, WAV, ASF, JPG and
TXT file formats. The USB connection allows fast data readout and transfer to the
PC or laptop.
The camera, the LCD monitor and the provided mains adapters are intended for dry
indoor use only.
The monitor and the camera may only be operated with the enclosed mains
adapters or rechargeable batteries.
Please note that you incur a penalty if you monitor or record strangers with this cam-
era without their knowing and consent.
Operating the device in another than the previously described way is not permitted
and may lead to damage of the product which brings about risks such as short cir-
cuit, fire, electric shock, etc. The product must not be modified or converted. The
safety instructions of this manual must be observed at all times. Please read the
operating manual carefully and keep it for later inquiries.
