11. Maintenance and cleaning
To clean the outside of the camera and the monitor, a dry, soft and clean cloth is
sufficient.
Clean the camera lens and the display of the monitor carefully in order to prevent
scratches.
Make sure that the device is not connected to the power supply during cleaning.
This product does not have any serviceable parts.
12. Disposal
a) General information
Please dispose of the device when it is no longer of use, according to the current
statutory requirements.
b) Batteries and rechargeable batteries
The end user is legally obliged (battery regulation) to return used batteries and
rechargeable batteries. Do not dispose of used batteries in the household rub-
bish.
Batteries/rechargeable batteries containing harmful substances are
marked with the following symbols, which indicate that it is not per-
mitted to dispose of them in the household waste. The designations
for the decisive heavy metals are: Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury,
Pb = lead.
You can hand in your used batteries/rechargeable batteries at the
official collection points of your community at no cost or everywhere
where batteries/rechargeable batteries are sold.
You thus fulfil the legal requirements and make your contribution to protecting the
environment!
