If proper operation of the device is no longer possible, de-commission it immediately and secure it
against accidental activation.

Avoid subjecting the telephone to severe mechanical stress.
•
Do not leave packing materials unattended. This could become a dangerous toy in the hands of chil-
dren.

The device does not belong in the hands of children. It is not a toy.
•
If in doubt about how to connect the device correctly or should any questions arise that are not
answered in these operating instructions, please contact our technical advisory service or another
specialist.

If you have reason to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, disconnect the device imme-
diately and secure it against inadvertent operation. Safe operation must be presumed to be no longer
possible if:

the device is visibly damaged,

the unit no longer operates and
-
if it has been stored for long periods of time under unfavourable conditions or
-
if it has been subjected to considerable stress in transit.
