9. Selecting a Drumkit
The digital drum provides 20 different preset drumkits (and one additional user-definable drumkit).
See list of preset drumkits in the appendix.
Press the KITS button
The LED below "KITS” on the display will light and the number of the current
drumkit is displayed.
NOTE:
No drumkit can be selected in LEARNING mode.
Select the drumkit
Use the number buttons to select the drumkit. If you want to select for exam-
ple drumkit 8, press first "0” then "8”.
Or apply the "+” and "-" buttons in the numeric field to select a drumkit.
NOTE:
• If you press KITS, drumkit "001” is active by default.
• You must always enter two numbers.
• You can select drumkits from 01 to 20. Other numbers will not be accepted
and the current drumkit remains active.
10. Configure Your Own Drumkit ("CU”)
The digital drum provides 76 different percussion sounds which can be assigned to the 7 pads and the two
pedals.
A drumkit ("CU”, "Custom Kit”) can be configured using these 76 different sounds.
Press the PAD ASSIGN button
The LED below PAD ASS. on the display lights and also the LED of
Pad 1.
The number currently shown on the display is the number of the
sound presently assigned to Pad 1.
NOTE:
• If one of the 20 preset drumkits is changed, this modified drumkit
will automatically be stored in the "CU” drumkit and overwrite the
drumkit there!
• Drumkit "001” and the custom drumkit "CU” have the same default
settings if no modifications are made.
