7. Notes on Batteries and Rechargeable Batteries
• Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Please observe the correct polarity (po and negative/-) when inserting
the batteries.
• Do not let batteries/rechargeable batteries lie around openly. There is a risk
of batteries being swallowed by children or pets. If swallowed, consult a
doctor immediately.
• Leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries may cause acid
burns when coming into contact with skin, therefore use suitable protective
gloves.
• Make sure that batteries/rechargeable batteries are not short-circuited,
dismantled or thrown into fire. There is a risk of explosion!
• Do not recharge normal batteries. There is a risk of explosion!
Only charge rechargeable batteries which are intended for this purpose;
use a suitable battery charger.
• In the case of disuse for a longer period of time (e.g. storage), remove the
inserted batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Old batteries/rechargeable batteries can leak and cause damages on the
product; loss of guarantee/warranty!
• Always replace the whole set of batteries/accumulators.
Only use batteries/accumulators of the same type/manufacturer with the
same charge status (do not mix full with semi-charged or empty batteries/
accumulators)
• Never mix batteries with accumulators! Use either batteries or accumulators.

batteries, please read the chapter "Disposal".
