To disarm the unit and to cancel the reaction to movement press the
buttons [10] or [16]. The LED [5] is no longer illuminated.
To manually activate a siren sound for approx. 20 sec. Press the panic
button [18] on the remote control. This function can be activated when
the unit is in armed or disarmed mode. If the unit was in the armed
mode it will remain armed after the 20 sec. siren.
To cancel the siren sound within 20 sec. Press the button [10] or [16]. If
the unit was armed, it will now be disarmed.
To turn off the unit turn the button [4] to the position "OFF" (a click
sound can be heard). After a short pause, the power LED [6] is no longer
illuminated.
To turn on the unit into standby mode turn the button [4] clockwise to
the required volume setting.
The following optional components can be enrolled into the main unit:
Additional remote control EW01R (max. 1x) (Art.-No. 33557) / MA80R
and up to a total 6x of the following detectors:
Wireless door/window contact MA80KM (Art.-No. 33552)
Wireless PIR-movement detector (indoor) MA 80 P (Art.-No. 33551)
Each wireless component has a unique coding set in the factory. This code
must be enrolled into the main unit:
Install the batteries into the wireless component. Ensure that the main
unit is not armed, the LED [5] is not illuminated.
Depress the LEARN button [8] until a peep sound can be heard. The unit
is now in the learning mode for 20 sec. (LED [5] flashes).
Move within the detection area of the MA80P, or separate the magnet
away from the reed switch of the MA80KM, or press a button on the
EW01R / MA80R. A coded signal will be transmitted to the main unit.
Two long peep sounds will confirm the successful enrollment of the code
of the component into the main unit.
If within 20 sec. no component has been enrolled the learning mode will
be automatically cancelled. This is signalled by 4 peep sounds.
Repeat the above steps for each component. If a component is enrolled
for a second time the first enrollment is automatically cancelled.
If a wireless detector is activated (from MA80KM door or window opened,
movement detected by MA80P) when the main unit is armed, then the unit
reacts depending on the mode setting as follows:
bark mode:
10 sec. bark
chime mode:
2x "ding-dong"
siren mode:
20 sec. siren
When the main unit is switched on, the status of the power supply is
indicated by the colour of the Power LED [6]:
lights green:
power via mains adapter / batteries are OK
lights orange:
power via mains adapter / no batteries fitted or weak
batteries (change batteries if these are fitted - batteries are
optional for back up - see Chapter 7, point 4)

You can also hang the unit on the wall at a height approx. 0.8 - 1.5m
from the floor:
Drill two suitable holes with a horizontal separation of 5 cm.
Test the function and the detection area from the proposed
location before drilling the holes.
If required, place the supplied wall plugs [22] into the holes.
Secure the supplied screws [23] so that the screw heads protrude
5 mm out of the wall.
Hang the main unit on the wall so that the hanging slots [7] are
located over the screw heads.
The microwave sensor does not detect through the aluminium coated
walls. Can be used behind curtains directly through plastic windows.
The microwave sensor does not detect through coated or wired glass or
double glazing
Electrical fields can cause permanent triggering
Push the switch [9] to the required position:
Bark mode
Chime mode
Siren mode (upper or lower position, there is no difference)
Turn the range adjuster [3] to the position "MAX".
Turn the volume adjuster [4] to the required volume. The power LED [6]
lights (colour: see chapter 11) and the unit is now in stand by mode.
To arm the unit, press the I/O button [10] or [17]. The armed mode will
be indicated by illumination of the arm LED [5] and audiably by:
Bark mode
1x bark
Chime mode
2x "ding-dong"
Siren mode
3 peeps
After a warm up period of approx. 60 sec. the readiness of the detector is
signalled by one peep.
If motion is detected the unit reacts according to the set mode:
1 detection within 5 sec.
1 bark
2 detections within 5 sec.
3X bark
3 or more detections within 5 sec.
10 sec. Bark
detection
2x "ding-dong”
1 detection within 5 sec.
3 sec. Siren
2 or more detections within 5 sec.
20 sec. Siren
The detection range of the sensor can be adjusted using the range
adjuster [3]. Set this at the minimum level required for the desired
detection. At the maximim range setting the unit sensor is very sensitive
and may react to other disturbances.
Use the adjuster [4] to set the desired volume.
Note:
Bark mode
Chime mode
Siren mode
Do not place:
Through walls f caravans
Through glass windows
Next to walls containing electrical wiring
