Set-up
Do not place the Powerbox close to TV sets or computer monitors. There is the risk that
the magnetic fields generated by the loudspeakers could distort the picture.
When setting up the Powerbox, make sure that it is on a stable base and that you find a
correspondingly stable surface for the placement.
If you setup the Powerbox in an elevated location or if you pile up multiple speakers, they
must be secured by appropriate safety devices. When so doing, ensure that the fasten-
ing material and the anchoring area are sufficiently dimensioned.
Serious injury to persons can be caused if the loudspeaker box falls down. Therefore, the
Powerbox must be secured by experienced and trained personnel.
• Set up the Powerbox in the desired location.
• Align the sound outlet as desired.
Connection
When connecting the Powerbox, make sure that the connection cable are not pinched or
damaged by sharp edges.
The loudspeakers may only be connected to suitable loudspeaker outputs on audio
devices.
Make sure the impedance and power rating indicated in the technical data complies with
the data for the amplifier connected. Otherwise the speakers or the amplifier may be
damaged.
The amplifier which is to be connected to the Powerbox has to be turned off during con-
necting.
Do not lay the connection cable in such a manner that it could be tripped over.
• Connect the positive loudspeaker output of the amplifier to the red or (+) marked clamp of the Powerbox.
• Connect the negative loudspeaker output of the amplifier to the black or (-) marked clamp on the
Powerbox.
Maintenance and Care
The Powerbox is maintenance-free.
It should only be vacuumed on the outside. Take care not to touch the sensitive speaker membranes; they
must not get wet.
