SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR CHARGER AND
BATTERY
Read the general instructions and safety
instructions carefully before charging the
battery.
Only use the prescribed charger to load the
battery. Do not charge batteries of another type
with this charger. Mains adaptors are only to be
used together with the charger socket and the
accompanying battery.
Only use the charger in a dry environment at

Do not use the charger when it has been
damaged.
Only have the charger and battery repaired by
an authorized repair agent.
Prevent the battery from short circuiting.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Check whether the voltage
indicated on the type plate of the
charger corresponds to the mains
voltage.
- LI-ION BATTERY
Advantages of Li-ion batteries :
- Li-ion batteries have a higher capacity/weight ratio
(more power for less heavy, more
compact, battery)
- No memory effect (capacity loss after several
charge/discharge cycles) like other type
batteries. (Ni-Cd, Ni-MeH ..) .
- Limited self discharge.
Never charge the battery
for more than 5 hours.
Charge battery pack solely
with the charger provided !
Make sure that the power
supply is 230 Volts AC /
50Hz.
Connect the charger to a power supply. Attach
battery pack to charger : the red light goes on.
To prevent damage to the
battery pack, remove the
battery pack immediately
from the charger
when no LED lights. Return
battery pack and charger
to your dealer for checking
or replacing.
Do not insert a battery
pack into a damaged
charger, it may damage
your battery pack.
Note :
- The battery pack will become slightly warm while
charging. This is normal and does not
indicate a problem.
- Do not place charger in an area of extreme heat or
cold. It will work best at normal room
temperature.
- When the battery becomes fully charged, unplug
your charger from the power supply and
remove the battery pack from the charger
