Checking the firewall
The scanner installation wizard launches

Click Next
•
The firewall settings of some Windows computer installations may
prevent or block WIDEsystem from locating the scanner. If you think
this might be happening ask your IT administrator to check the
firewall settings on the computer being used.
•
Check the scanner is switched on and ready to connect by feeding a
piece of paper into the feed tray
•
Click Next to proceed
