Clean the transport rollers
The two rows of powered transport rollers each side of the white pressure
rollers in the base of the scanner rotate to drive documents through the
scanner.
•
Spray/apply a mild, streak-free, glass cleaner onto a lint-free cloth
•
Gently wipe the surface of each roller
•
Use the cloth to turn the rollers so you wipe all sides.
•
Dry the transport rollers completely using another clean, dry lint-free
cloth.
•
Make sure that you leave the area dry.
CAUTION
: Do not spray/apply cleaner fluids directly to the rollers or
anywhere else in the scan area.
Close the lid
•
Push the scanner lid down until you hear
the lid latches “click”.
•
Gently try to pull open the lid to ensure it is properly locked both sides.
•
Plug in the scanner and turn the main power switch to ON.
