Defrost
α)
Refrigerator part
Defrosting of your refrigerator is fully automatic and occurs every time the
compressor stops. No intervention on your part is necessary. During
operation, there is the appearance of drops of condensation or ice on the rear
wall. They will be eliminated during automatic defrosting.
The water produced will flow through the drainage hole and will be collected
in the tank located on the compressor, from where it will evaporate.
Important:
Keep the drain hole and the gutter clean to avoid clogging and the
flow of water inside the cabinet.
β)
Freezer section
The formation of frost inside the appliance cannot be avoided. Frost forms
when the moisture in the air comes into contact with the cold surfaces of the
freezer. This is why the door should only be opened if necessary. A thin layer
of frost does not affect the operation of the appliance and can be removed
using the squeegee.
When the layer of frost reaches ten millimeters, complete defrosting must be
carried out. We recommend that you do this when the device is lightly charged.
χ)
Before defrosting, if the appliance is not empty, put the thermostat button on
a cooler position so that the products are brought to very low temperatures.
δ)
Unplug the appliance
ε)
Take out the frozen products and store them in a cool place by wrapping them
in several sheets of newspaper or better in insulated packaging (insulated
bags, plastic bubble wrap ...)
φ)
Leave the door open.
γ)
You can speed up defrosting by removing some of the frost using the
squeegee and placing hot water containers (max 60 °) inside.
η)
After the frost has melted, wipe and dry the freezer thoroughly.
ι)
Reconnect and wait an hour or two before refilling it.
Never use sharp objects to scrape off frost or electric heating devices
(hair dryers, radiators). The device could be irreparably damaged.
Cleaning
Before cleaning, unplug the appliance.
•
Never use abrasive products or a sponge with a scraper for cleaning the interior
or exterior of your appliance.
•
Remove all accessories (shelves, shelves, vegetable bins). Wash them in
lukewarm water with a mild, odorless detergent (e.g. dishwashing detergent),
rinse with bleach and dry thoroughly.
•
Wash the interior walls in the same way; take special care of the shelf supports
•
Wash the door seal without forgetting to also clean under the seal.
•
Reconnect the device.
