Cleaning instructions
• Regularly dust the back of the refrigerator
and the floor to improve its cooling per-
formance and energy saving features.
The interior of the refrigerator should be
regularly cleaned to prevent odors.
• We suggest using a soft cloth or a sponge
dampened in water and a non-corrosive
neutral detergent to clean the appliance.
Finally wipe the surfaces with a soft cloth
dampened in clear water and then wipe
dry using a clean soft cloth. Let the door
open for natural drying before turning
back on the refrigerator.
• Do not use stiff bristle brushes, steel
pads, wire brushes, abrasives such as
toothpaste, organic solvents (such as al-
cohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling
water, acid or alkaline items to clean the
refrigerator since this may damage the
surfaces.
WARNING: BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING JOB AND TO DE-
FROST THE APPLIANCE, UNPLUG IT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY.
• Do not rinse with water so as not to affect
the electrical insulation properties of the
appliance.
• Use a dry cloth when cleaning lamps, the
control panel including temperature
control knob, and electrical components.
Defrosting the appliance
Defrost the freezer compartment when-
ever the layer of frost on the surface of the
evaporator reaches 3 mm.
1. Before defrosting, remove all foods, set
the thermostat knob to the OFF posi-
tion and unplug the refrigerator from
power.
2. Place the drip tray under the evaporator
to collect defrosting water.
3. After all the frost has melted, discard the
collected water and dry up the interior
of appliance.
4. Plug the refrigerator to the power outlet
and start it by turning the thermostat to
a setting other than OFF.
Do not use metallic utensils or an electric
heater to defrost the unit since this will
damage it.
