EASY FLIP PAN™ RECIPES
Mini Egg Cakes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
Ingredients
4 Large eggs, beaten
2 tbsp. Milk
Salt & Pepper to taste
Favorite Omelet Fillings (suggestions below)
Diced Ham
Cheddar Cheese
Diced Green and Red Peppers
Directions
•
In a shallow bowl mix the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
•
Using the Griddle Easy Flip Pan™ lower pan heat the ham, diced peppers, and/ or
desired egg cake fillings.
•
When fully cooked place fillings in a separate bowl.
•
Carefully attach the Circle Cover for the Easy Flip Pan™ to the lower griddle pan.
•
Pour the egg mixture equally into each circle and place in desired amount of
toppings and cheese. Close the pan and cook until the egg cake is almost fully
cooked , about 4 minutes. Flip your Easy Flip Pan™ and continue cooking the egg
cake until it is fully cooked, about 1-2 more minutes.
•
Repeat with any extra mixture and toppings.
Stuffed Potato Cakes
Servings: 10-12
Cook Time: 10 minutes per cake
Ingredients
2lbs. Potatoes, boiled and mashed
2 Bay Leaves
Olive Oil, to season the circles
1/2 lb. Mushrooms
1 Onion
1/2 Cup Flour
Dill
Salt & Pepper to taste
Directions
•
Wash, peel and dice potatoes.
•
Boil the potatoes with bay leaf until fully cooked.
•
While potatoes are cooking, connect the Circle pan cover to the lower pan of the
Griddle Easy Flip Pan™ (not included). Heat the lower Griddle Easy Flip Pan™ with a
tablespoon of olive oil.
•
Dice the onion and coarsely chop mushrooms.
•
Add the onion and mushrooms to the griddle pan and cook on medium-low heat
mixing occasionally until all the liquid evaporated. This will take about 15-20
minutes.
•
Cook for another 5 minutes until mixture starts to brown.
•
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
•
Finally chop the dill, add it to the pan with mushrooms, mix and take off the heat.
Place the mixture into a mixing bowl.
•
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them well and mash. Season to taste.
•
Cool the potatoes.
•
Add flour to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
•
Take about 2 tablespoons of potato dough and flatten into the circles in the circle
cover, place one spoonful
of mushroom mixture and cover with more potato
dough.
•
Fry about 5 minutes until they turn golden, flip the Flip Pan™ and fry another 5
minutes until golden.
•
Repeat with any extra mixture and toppings.
TIP: Serve with leftover mushroom mixture if any left, some lemon juice, mustard or
horseradish.
