Assembly Pole Pruner
1. Release the knob 3 close to handle and extend the tube.
2. Release the knob 2 and insert the inner pole 1 with ‘click’ sound.
3. Lock knob 2 and knob 3 firmly. If needed, to adjust the length of tubes.
2. Loosen the Guide Bar knob and remove the Sprocket Cover.
Change Saw Blade
1. Use screwdriver first to loosen the screw in the guide bar cover.

3. Loosen the guide bar adjustment bolt with the hex key.
CAUTION:
When handling chain always were protective gloves to avoid injury.

4. Place chain along top groove of guide bar and around guide bar nose, making
sure cutting edges of chain are facing in the correct direction. Position chain so
cutting edges on top of guide bar face guide bar nose.
CAUTION: Do not place chain on saw backwards. If chain is backwards, saw will
vibrate badly and will not cut.
5. Install guide bar onto saw body. Place center slot of guide bar onto guide bar
bolt. Place chain around drive sprocket.
6. Tighten the guide bar adjustment bolt with the hex key.
7. Adjust saw chain tension. Follow steps under SAW CHAIN TENSION
ADJUSTMENT. Correct chain tension as shown in figure 7.
