How to use the Biscuit Maker:
Once you have made your biscuit dough, using your favourite recipe, you are ready to use your Biscuit Maker.
Unscrew the closing ring (9) and raise the dough press (6), to raise the dough press you need to pull the dough
press rod (2) upwards fully.
Fill the cylinder (8) to the top with your ready made dough.
Select the shape of die plate (7) you would like and insert this into the closing ring. The die plate is inserted by
dropping into the closing ring at the thread end. The raised side of the die plate must be facing downwards.
Screw the closing ring back onto the cylinder
Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper or grease the baking tray directly as preferred.
Choose the size of biscuit you would like by rotating the biscuit size regulator (5) . Rotate to the marked number 1
setting for smaller biscuits and the marked number 2 setting for larger biscuits.
Turn the knob (1) on the dough press rod so that the notches on the rod are aligned with the lever handle (3).
Pump the lever handle several times until the dough starts to come out of the die plate evenly. Wipe this dough
away to clean the die plate and you are ready to start pressing your biscuits.
Tip:
Now is a good time to start pre-heating your oven. Pre-heat to the specified temperature; as per your chosen
dough recipe.
Place the biscuit maker on the baking tray with the closing ring downward. Press down on the lever handle; this will
press the dough through the die plate and onto the baking tray.
Carefully lift the biscuit maker from the baking tray and you will be left with your shaped dough.
TIP:
Tilt the biscuit maker slightly when lifting to help gently ease the dough off of the die plate
Raise the lever fully and you are then able to create your next biscuit. Repeat these steps until you have made your
desired amount of biscuits.
