How To Steam Food  

(This function only available for model CMC-EL390SS)

 

 
1.  Place the inner pot in the Multi cooker. Add water up to 1.0 cm 

depth  or  at  least  3  measuring  cups  full  of  water.  Place  the 
steamer tray on top of the inner pot.  

2.  Place food to be steamed on the steamer tray.  
 
3.  Plug  in  the  power  cord  to  the  Multi  cooker  then  plug  into  the 

power  supply.  Switch  the  power  on.  Switch  the  temperature 
setting to the required temperature. 

 
4.  Use a timer to remind you when to switch off the Multi cooker. 
 
5.  When  steaming  function  is  complete,  move  the  Temperature 

setting  control  to  the  “OFF”  position  and  switch  off  the  power 
supply.  Be  mindful  when  opening  the  lid  as  the  steam 
discharged is very HOT. 

 
 

 

Care and Cleaning 

 

 
BEFORE cleaning your Multi Cooker, ensure that the power supply 
is  switched  OFF  and  the  power  cord  set  is  removed  from  the 
appliance.  WAIT  until  the  appliance  cools  down  to  room 
temperature before cleaning.  
 
1.  Do  not  use  abrasive  sponge,  scouring  pads,  or  stiff  brush  to 

clean  your  Multi  Cooker. The  Inner  pot  and  Steamer  tray  may 
be cleaned with mild soapy water using a sponge or soft cloth 

 
2.  Occasionally wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth.  
 
3.  Periodically  ensure  that  there  are  no  foreign  objects  stuck  in 

the  inner  part  of  the  Multi  Cooker.  Remove  them  and  wipe 
surfaces with a damp cloth. 

 
4.  Inspect  the  electrical  cord  periodically  to  ensure  that  it  is  not 

damaged in any way.
