Components

Components are illustrated in Figure 2.

The base plate is the dark metal part inside
the enclosure to which the components are
attached. It is secured by one screw in each
corner.
•
There are top and bottom mounting
brackets.
•
The splice tray holder is removed for
clarity.
•
The fan-out bracket is underneath the splice
tray mounting location.

An installation kit is provided that
includes cable ties, central member strain-relief
hardware, a sheath retention kit and a quick-
release latch kit.

Unpacking Stubbed Units
Follow the directions in Standard
Recommended Procedure 003-310, provided
with the shipping container, to remove the
stubbed unit from its packaging.
