Fit the harness around your child and fasten the harness buckle by joining the clips (f)
and pushing them both into the buckle (g).
The harness must fit level with the top of your child’s shoulders. It must not fit above or
below the shoulder line. The height of the harness can be adjusted by raising or lowering
the headrest. See step 4.
6 - seating your child into the car seat harness - (Group 1
mode: 9 - 18kg, approx. 9 months to 4 years old) - 2
Check that the harness is not twisted. Pull the harness up (a) to tighten the lap
sections which is designed to fit low down on your child’s body.
Pull the adjuster strap forward (b) making sure the harness is a comfortable but FIRM fit
around your child.
Finally, pull both chest pads down (c) from your child’s shoulders onto their chest.
NOTE:
The chest pads are an important safety feature. Never use
the child car seat without them.
7 - adjusting the seat angle
The child car seat can be used in five different positions. To adjust the recline angle of
the seat pull the lever at the front of the seat (a) then move the seat (b). Release the
handle in the required position and push until you hear a distinct click.
8 - fitting the child car seat to the vehicle seat - 1
NOTE:
In group 1 mode, the child car seat can only be fitted
using ISOFIX anchor point with top tether strap.
Before fitting the child car seat release the fabric fastener (a) and unroll the tether strap
behind the seat.
Bring the tether strap over the headrest and place it on the seat (b).
Place the child car seat onto the vehicle seat.
Push both ISOFIX arm buttons (c) until the ISOFIX arms are fully extended at the rear of
the seat (d).
9 - fitting the child car seat to the vehicle seat - 2
Align the child car seat (a) and connect ISOFIX arms onto the vehicle ISOFIX anchor
points (b) until a ‘CLICK’ is heard.
The indicators on the base of the child car seat should show green (c) when the arms are
correctly fitted.
10 - fitting the child car seat to the vehicle seat - 3
Push the child car seat back (a) until its backrest is in firm contact with the vehicle seat (b).
WARNING:
Ensure that the ISOFIX arms are still fully engaged
with the ISOFIX anchor point (c).
Pull the child car seat back slightly to ensure the child car seat is locked.
