10. Transporting the combination saw
• Make sure that the machine is unplugged before starting to
disassemble the saw.
• The saw should be in compound mitre saw mode: Set the table
angle to 0° and the saw head angle to 0°. Lower the saw head to its
lowest setting and lock it using the saw head lock (28).
• Carry the saw as shown in the figure.
Warning!
• Make sure that all moving parts are fastened before lifting the saw.
Remove any added accessories.
• The saw should be in compound mitre saw mode when it is to be transported.
• The lower blade guard (8) must be attached when the saw is transported.

11. Storing the combination saw
Warning!
• Do not store the saw in a place where unauthorised persons could start it or be injured by it.
Push the emergency stop button in and disconnect the machine from the power supply.
• Store the saw indoors, in a dry area, protected from rain and moisture.
12. Maintenance
Check these points before starting:
• That the mains lead and plug are undamaged, that the guards are intact and working properly, that
the blade rotates without catching on anything and that the distance between the riving knife and blade
is 5 – 6 mm.
• That the saw blade is not cracked, that none of the tungsten carbide teeth are missing and that the blade
is not warped or distorted.
• Remove sawdust and waste from the saw using a vacuum or dust extractor.
• Grease controls and threaded spindles.
• Checks to be made after every 300 hours of use:
• Make sure that all screws, nuts and bolts are tight, if not tighten them.
• Make sure that the return spring works properly and returns the saw head to its fully upright position,
change the spring if necessary.
• Check all stop screws and the scale settings.
