If SonoLab does not connect to the instrument, the following screen appears allowing SonoLab to be run in emulation mode without an
instrument.
Click “Yes”, and the normal SonoLab login and Homing screens are presented, allowing the user to operate SonoLab as if an instrument
is present. This is useful for training purposes or for creating methods off-line.
3.3
Preparing your System for Use
3.3.1
Instrument Status & Basic Controls
To run an acoustic treatment, a number of conditions must be met, including:
a)
The motion system must be initialized.
b)
There must be an acoustic method selected in the Method box.
c)
Water temperature must be within acceptable Min and Max limits.
d)
The bath water must be degassed.
e)
Water should be approximately at level 15.
f)
The safety enclosure door must be closed.
NOTE:
The proper plate and consumables must be in place on your system’s sample tray.
