In order to extend the service life of the device, it is necessary to provide a suitable place for its
installation, which should guarantee:
Easy connection to the installation
Sufficient space for service
Ventilation for proper cooling of the power supply
Protection against gases that can cause corrosion
Protection against excessive moisture and heat sources
Protection against dust and other impurities
Suitable fire protection
The working temperature should be in the range of 20-
25ºC. At this temperature, the batteries
exhibit optimum performance.
2.4.2. UPS components
The components of the UPS are shown in the figures below:

2.4.3. Service space
There are no ventilation openings on the side walls of the power supply, therefore no space is required
from the side. However, for access to the device from each side, it is recommended to keep min. 50 cm
of service space.
It is required to provide adequate space from the front of the power supply to fully open the door and the
possibility of disassembling the power modules and free drawing of cold air from the environment.
Recommended space from the front 100cm.
Due to the required free air blow and circulation, the space required from the back of the power supply is
80cm.
2.5. Safety elements
For safety reasons, it is necessary to install appropriate protections in the form of over-current circuit
breakers or other protective devices in the UPS power distribution board. This chapter provides general
