The UPS operates in normal mode.
4.2.2. Starting the
UPS from the battery (“cold start”)
1. Check if the batteries are connected. Close the battery disconnector located outside the UPS (in the
case of parallel operation of the power supplies, repeat the operation on both units).
2. Press the red "cold start" button on the power supply located above the disconnectors behind the
UPS front door.
3. After restarting the LCD display, press and hold the red "cold start" button located under the
rectifier's disconnector for 5 seconds (in the case of parallel operation of the power supplies, repeat
the operation on both units).
The battery diode flashes. After starting the rectifier which lasts about 30 seconds, the battery diode
turns green.
Warning. If the green battery LED is not flashing, it means that you have to press the red "cold start"
button again.
4. The inverter starts automatically, the inverter diode flashes. The output of the power supply is
switched on after approx. 60 seconds
The power supply or the system of power supplies connected in parallel works in the battery mode.

4.3. Procedures for switching the power supply between operating
modes
4.3.1. Switching from normal operation to battery operation
The following procedure applies to the operation of a single power supply unit as well as two power
supplies switched on in parallel.
Open the rectifier's power disconnector (Q1) to disconnect the UPS. The UPS will go into battery mode.
If the power supply should be switched back to normal operation, wait a few seconds and then close the
rectifier's power disconnector (Q1). After about 10 seconds, the rectifier is started and the normal mode
is entered.
