4.3.2. Switching from normal operation to Bypass operation
There are two ways to switch the power supply to Bypass mode.
Method 1: Enter the Operation menu and select the "Transfer to Bypass" command on the LCD display
(icon
).
Method 2: Press and hold the BYP key on the UPS panel for two seconds until the UPS switches to
bypass. In order for this to work on the rear door of the UPS, the SW1 switch must be in the ON
position.
In the case of parallel operation of two or more UPSs, the use of the above-mentioned command causes
switching of the entire UPS system to the electronic bypass operation.

Warning
In Bypass mode, the loads are supplied directly from the mains and are not protected against the
effects of power outages and interruptions in the mains.
4.3.3. Switching from Bypass mode to normal operation
Method 1: Enter the Operations menu and select the "Transfer to Inverter" command on the display
(icon
).
Method 2: Press and hold the INV button on the power supply panel for more than 2 seconds.
4.3.4. Switching from normal operation to service Bypass mode.
The procedures described below allow you to switch the UPS from normal operation to service bypass
mode

Warning
Before performing the following procedure, make sure that the voltage and frequency parameters in
the Bypass path are correct and that the inverter is synchronized to the Bypass voltage. The
fulfillment of these conditions guarantees an uninterrupted changeover of loads to bypass power.
Enter the Operations menu and select the "Transfer to Bypass" command on the LCD display
(icon
). Using the "Transfer to Bypass" command on the LCD display causes the inverter
diode to flash and acoustic signaling.
The UPS works in Bypass mode, the UPS inverter is turned off.
Close the service bypass switch (Maintenance Bypass Q3). The loads will be powered by a bypass
path. Open the rectifier and bypass power disconnectors (Q1 and Q2) and output (Q4) as well as the
battery disconnector located outside the UPS.

Attention
If it is necessary to open the power module housing, eg during the inspection work, wait a minimum
of 10 minutes until the DC capacitors are discharged inside the module.
4.3.5. Switching from service Bypass mode to normal operation
The procedure described below allows you to switch the UPS from bypass mode (Service Bypass) to
normal operation.
1. Close the output disconnector (Q4) and the bypass power disconnector switches (Q2).
When the Bypass LED turns green, the reception is powered by an electronic and service Bypass.
2. Open the Service Bypass switch (Q3). Close the rectifier circuit power disconnector (Q1).
The receipts are powered by electronic Bypass. In the meantime, the charger will start and after
about 30 seconds the rectifier diode should be green. The power inverter will then start
automatically - it may take about 1 minute.
3. Close the battery disconnector located outside the UPS. The battery diode will go off
