Instruction for Connecting the Transformer
1. CCX2LP/NG (Built-In) Transformer for Interior Lights
Your transformer will connect on the left side of your grill (looking at it from the front) and operates the
lights inside your grill. Follow the pictures and insert the white male plug into the white female socket,
on the left side of your grill and then plug the 3-prong cord into a standard 110v outlet.

2. CCX2LP/NG-FS (Free-Standing) Transformer for Interior Lights
For the free-standing cart model CCX2 that comes fully assembled in the box, the transformer plug
shown above (for built-in application) will already be attached to the grill. All you need to do is to
un-package the transformer (protected by a stainless steel box) and attach it to the side of the cart as
shown. Once it is attached, you will then need to connect the male plug coming out of the grill to the
female socket that is sticking out of the transformer (stainless steel) box and then plug the 3-prong cord
into a standard 110v outlet.
WARNING:
These two transformer should be kept away from the heat of the BBQ.
Keep any electrical supply cords and the fuel supply hose away from any
heated surfaces.
