Using your Hot Water Bottle

1.    Remove the

Stopper

and place to one side.

2.

NEVER

use boiling water to fill your bottle.

3.

DO NOT

fill using water from your domestic hot water system this can significantly

shorten the life of your bottle.

4.    Hot water Bottles are intended for partial filling only. Fill your Bottle to no more than

2/3 capacity or less

.

5.

   DO NOT

overfill as this may cause the bottle to burst.

6.   When filling, hold the

Bottle

firmly around the neck in an upright position and fill

SLOWLY

to avoid hot water splashing back.

RISK OF SCALDING

.

7.   When approximately 2/3 full or less expel air from the

Bottle

 by carefully lowering

it onto a flat surface until water appears at the opening. Then, without moving the

Bottle

, replace the

Stopper

 and tighten.

8.   Tighten sufficiently to prevent leakage, normally, finger tight is sufficient.
9.   Now hold the

Bottle

upside down to check for leaks and remove any water from the

funnel by gently shaking.

10. We recommend that when filled with hot water you always use the provided

Cover

 to

prevent the possibility of contact burns. See below for fitting guidance:

a.   Fold the

Bottle

 in half along its length.

b.   Push the folded end down into the

Cover

through the elasticated opening

(see images below):

c.   Make sure the

is correctly fitted with the funnel located in the end of
