Using as a COLD Water Bottle

Your

Hot Water Bottle

is just as effective as a

Cold Water Bottle

 for times when you

need to cool part of your body, perhaps for a sprain etc. its also much less messy than a
bag of frozen peas! Proceed as follows:

1.   Take the

Hot Water Bottle

out of the cover (to prevent the cover sticking to the Freezer).

2.   Fill the

Bottle

to between 1/2 - 2/3 full, squeeze out the air and replace the stopper.

3.   Place the

Hot Water Bottle

in the freezer for 4 hours.

4.   With the water in the

Bottle

frozen it may be difficult to replace the

Cover

 so if you

do have trouble we recommend just wrapping it in a Tea Towel or similar for use.

 WARNING:

When the Hot Water Bottle is frozen avoid contact with your bare skin

as there is a possibility of “frost burns”. Always handle with a cloth or gloves and
keep covered in use.

5.   The

Bottle

should provide good cooling for in excess of one hour.

6.   When you have finished using the bottle as a

Cold Water Bottle

, empty and store as

described in the

Storing Your Hot Water Bottle

 section.

Cleaning your Hot Water Bottle

1.   Remove the

Cover

from the

Hot Water Bottle.

2.  Machine wash the

 Covers

under

 40°C.

When completed they can be dried in the

normal way on a washing line or similar.
