BATTERY INSTALLATION

Unscrew black battery cap counter-clockwise.

Insert 2 AAA batteries included.(Insert positive
side (+) inward).
3.
Re-install battery cover.

AUTO-OFF POWER
1.
To conserve battery power, display (and display
light, if turned on) is factory set to turn off after
5 minutes of inactivity. Display can be set to
turn off after 15 minutes of inactivity or to run
continuously.
2.
To select auto-off after 5 or 15 minutes
or to remove factory auto-off feature, (run
continuously), press the power key if display is
not already on.

SELECT TRACK OR PEAK MODE
1. Default mode is “T” (Track), which shows “real
time” torque values in the
B
display
. Once torque
removed, display returns to 0.
2. To select PEAK MODE (P), press
[M]
then

to change from “T” to “P”. In PEAK MODE, the
maximum torque value reached will be shown on
the
B display
for 2 seconds. After 2 seconds, this
value will continuously flash in the
B display
(as a
reminder of the maximum value thus far).
3. To eliminate PEAK (P) value shown, press
[
]
.
SELECT A FACTORY TARGET TORQUE
SETTING
1.
Wrench is factory programmed with five presets
(memory #’s 1-5) for all 4 units:
Lbf.ft, Lbf.in,
N-m, Kgf.m.
(see page 5)
2.
Press to turn wrench ON.
3.
Press

to select a memory storage number
(M1, M2, M3, M4 or M5).
ENTER CUSTOM TORQUE VALUES
1.
To enter your own custom torque value (using
Memory #’s M6-M0), press 0 to turn wrench ON.
2.
Press

+
]
to select a memory storage number.
3.
Press and hold
[
+
]
until shows on the
display. Current torque value will appear and the
first digit will flash.
4.
Press
[
+
]
to scroll to desired number.
5.
Press
[
]
to go to next digit. Use
[
+
]
to scroll
to desired number. Repeat this process until
required digits have been accessed.
6.
Once desired torque value is entered, press
[M]
.
NOTE:
Erro
will show in the display if torque value you entered is
less than minimum torque of 10% full scale or greater than maximum
torque value, as shown in above specifications table (Measurement
Range) for actual torque value you have selected.
