To comply wit h RF Exposure requirement s, t his equipment should be inst alled and
operat ed t o ensure a minimum dist ance of 35 cm bet ween t he radiat ing devices (ant ennas)
and human bodies.
SAFETY AND HAZARDS
This equipment is designed t o operat e in ambient t emperat ures up t o 60 ° C (140 ° F).
When operat ing in elevat ed ambient t emperat ures, t he surf ace of t he equipment may
exceed 60 ° C and become t oo hot t o saf ely t ouch. Under t his condit ion, t his product must
be inst alled in a secured locat ion t hat is not accessible t o accident al t ouch, and access t o
t he device must be rest rict ed t o service persons or users who possess t he proper t ool or
key t o access t he device and have been inf ormed about t he pot ent ial high surf ace
t emperat ures and inst ruct ed on how t o saf ely handle and/ or service t he device.
Under no circumst ances should t he device be used in any areas
(a) where blast ing is in progress,
(b) where explosive at mospheres may be present , or
(c) t hat are near (i) medical or lif e support equipment , or (ii) any equipment which may
be suscept ible t o any f orm of radio int erf erence.
In such areas, t he device MUST BE POWERED OFF AT ALL TIMES (since t he device
ot herwise could t ransmit signals t hat might int erf ere wit h such equipment ).
In addit ion, under no circumst ances should t he device be used in any aircraf t , regardless
of whet her t he aircraf t is on t he ground or in f light . In any aircraf t , t he device MUST BE
POWERED OFF AT ALL TIMES since t he device ot herwise could t ransmit signals t hat might
int erf ere wit h various onboard syst ems on such aircraf t . Furt hermore, under no
circumst ances should t he device be used by t he driver or operat or of any vehicle. Such
use of t he device will det ract f rom t he driver’ s or operat or’ s cont rol of t hat vehicle. In
some j urisdict ions, use of t he device while driving or operat ing a vehicle const it ut es a
civil and/ or criminal of f ense.
Due t o t he nat ure of wireless communicat ions, t ransmission and recept ion of dat a by t he
device can never be guarant eed, and it is possible t hat dat a communicat ed or t ransmit t ed
wirelessly may be delayed, corrupt ed (i. e. , cont ain errors), or t ot ally lost . The device is
not int ended f or, and Cradlepoint recommends t he device not be used in any crit ical
applicat ions where f ailure t o t ransmit or receive dat a could result in propert y damage or
loss or personal inj ury of any kind (including deat h) t o t he user or t o any ot her part y.
Cradlepoint expressly disclaims liabilit y for damages of any kind result ing from:
(a) delays, errors, or losses of any dat a t ransmit t ed or received using t he device; or
(b) any f ailure of t he device t o t ransmit or receive such dat a.
For proper and saf e vehicle inst allat ions, t he device must be prof essionally inst alled
inside t he passenger compart ment . The Power and GPIO accessory cable must be
connect ed t o a fused circuit in t he vehicle. This f used circuit requires a 3A f use. If t he
supply connect ion is made direct ly t o t he bat t ery, an inline 3A f use should be inst alled in
t he posit ive lead. For Nort h America, a UL List ed f use is t o be used.

Purchaser agrees t o indemnif y Cradlepoint against any liabilit y or damages caused t o t hird
part ies as a result of Purchaser’ s misuse or misapplicat ion of t he Cradlepoint product .

HARDWARE WARRANTY INFORMATION
Cradlepoint , Inc. warrant s t his hardware product against def ect s in mat erials and
workmanship t o t he original purchaser f or a period of t hree (3) years f rom t he dat e of
shipment . This warrant y is limit ed t o a repair or replacement of t he hardware product , at
Cradlepoint ’ s discret ion, as purchaser’ s sole and exclusive remedy. If t his hardware
product was procured as a component of a Net Cloud Solut ion Package, addit ional
warrant y may be available. Please see Cradlepoint ’ s websit e f or det ails. Cradlepoint does
not warrant t hat t he operat ion of t he product will meet your requirement s or be error
f ree.

ROUTER COMMUNICATION/ DATA USAGE
The f act ory def ault conf igurat ion of t he rout er is set t o communicat e wit h Cradlepoint
and ot her resources at regular int ervals t o access t he lat est f irmware and modem updat es,
clock synchronizat ion (NTP), and Net Cloud Manager (ECM) membership. Such
communicat ion may result in dat a usage and applicable charges regardless of whet her t he
rout er uses a wired or wireless Int ernet connect ion. To avoid such dat a usage and
