Snap the carbon canister filter assembly back into place under the inner
engine shroud. See Figure 20 inset.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure the angled nipple points upwards into the shroud to
avoid interference with the autochoke linkage.

Place the inner engine shroud back onto the engine. Fasten the recoil starter
housing back down and reattach the outer engine shroud.
Spark Plug Service
WARNING
DO NOT check for spark with spark plug removed. DO NOT crank engine
with spark plug removed.

Remove the spark plug boot and use a spark plug wrench to remove the
plug. See Figure 21.

If the engine has been running, the muffler will be very hot. Be careful not
to touch the muffler.
