start.
The chain brake is engaged.
Pull the chain brake towards
you until the chain brake is
disengaged.
No electrical contact
between the chain saw and
battery.
To secure the battery, make
sure the latches on the battery
compartment snap into place.
The battery pack is
depleted.
Charge the battery pack.
The lock-off lever and
trigger are not depressed
simultaneously.
Press down the lock-off lever and
hold it, then depress the trigger
to turn on the chain saw.
The battery and power tool
is too hot or too cold.
Refer to the battery and charger
maintaince part in the manual.
Motor

abnormal.
Motor stops after about 3
seconds.
Recharge the battery.
If the unit cuts off and
beeps during a cut, it went
into protection mode. This
protects the PCB from

Release the trigger and restart

do the work and do not force

correct charging procedures.
The saw chain needs
lubrication, and will increase
friction if not properly
maintained.
Make sure the chain is always
lubricated by never letting the bar
and chain oil run low.
Incorrect battery storage
temperature.
Allow the battery pack to
cool until it drops to room
temperature.
