Open the battery compartment, by pushing the small tab below the

Read the instructions carefully before starting.

Making Braids

Stage 1

Preparing strands of hair

1.  Make sure your hair is dry and take a small strand of hair and brush it

thoroughly from the roots to the ends.

2.  Divide the strand into three equal parts. See figure 2.

3.  Hold the three parts with one hand and the braiding tool in the other.

Using your thumb, push one of the pegs under the tool’s revolving head,

upwards, to free the hair clasp above it. See figure 3.

4.  Insert one strand of hair, 2 centimeters from the end, into the hooked end

of the clasp. See figure 4.

5.  Release the peg, so that the tool grasps the strand of hair. See figure 5.

6.  Repeat the same steps with the other two strands of hair.

 *  You can also braid your hair with only two strands of hair!

In this case, follow the same instructions, but divide the first strand into

two equal parts.

Stage 2

Twisting the Strands of Hair Into Coils

Now, with the tool holding all three strands, push the switch upwards. See

figure 6. Each of the three strands will twirl in place and you will have three

separate “coils” of hair.

Return the switch to its original position, in the center.

When you twirl the strands of hair, try to keep the tool straight, so that all three

strands will coil evenly.

Stage 3  Braiding

Push the switch downwards. The three coiled strands will be braided together,

creating a cool braid! See figure 7.

Note:

The braiding action is quick. Once the three strands have become one

braid, return the switch to its original position, in the center.

Caution:

If you hold the switch down for too long, knots may form as a result of

over-braiding.

Push the pegs upwards and gently release the strands of hair. Fasten the end of

the braid with a rubber band or a snap-on bead, so that it doesn’t come

undone.

To decorate the braid you can thread a bead onto the strand before braiding

and at the end of it, after braiding.

See the instructions and suggestions for hair styling below, under the heading

“Decorated Braids”.

Warning:

Keep the tool away from water or any other liquid.

Decorated “Braids”

1.  Brush your hair thoroughly. Thread one or more beads.

2.  Prepare a braid or hair wrap with the hair strand threaded with a bead.

When making a braid it is better to use two strands and not three, so that

the hair fits through the bead.

3.  Thread another bead at the end of the braid and fasten it with a rubber

band or use a clip-on bead.

Bead “Braid”

1.  Brush your hair thoroughly. Choose the colors of beads you want and

thread them one after another onto a wet strand of hair, in the order you

 choose.

2.  Fasten the end of the braid with a rubber band or a clip-on bead and show

off your beautiful bead braid!

Braided Half-Up

1.  Brush your hair thoroughly.

Make 2 or 3 braids on each side of your head. See figure 8.

2.  Pull the braids from both sides backwards, and tie them with one rubber

band. See figure 9.

If the braids are too loose, twist them (in the direction of the braiding) a

few times before pulling them back.

“Queen” Style

1.  Divide your hair in the front to make thin sections, leaving most of your

hair loose in the back.

2.  Pull the front hair strands back and gather them with rubber bands.

Decorate each ponytail with a bead, close to the rubber band.

See figure 10.
