Appendix: Azimuth and Elevation Pointing Guide
The following chart shows the optimum azimuth bearing and elevation pointing
angles for locations throughout the US (below) and Canada (starts on page 10).
The
azimuth has been magnetically corrected.
NOTE:
Although in many locations it may be possible to receive signals from
terrestrial repeaters, it is not recommended to use these signals at fixed locations.
Repeater signal strength can vary greatly from day to day as a function of many
uncontrolled variables.
