Troubleshooting
The following table provides corrective action for possible trouble situations. If
further assistance is required, please contact a Crestron customer service
representative.

Wrong power supply.
Use a Crestron power supply.*
Unit does not function.
Green PWR LED is
not illuminated.
Unit is not receiving power, or
is receiving insufficient power.
Verify that cables plugged into
NET port are secure. Verify that
power supply is correct.*
Improper Net ID.
Verify that the CAMIDSPT Net
ID matches Net ID in the
software program.
Unit does not function.
Yellow NET LED is not
illuminated.
Loose network connection.
Verify that cable plugged into
NET port is secure.
Unit does not function.
Hardstop or other obstruction
prevents unit from executing
power up homing functions.
Adjust hardstops or remove
obstruction.
Unit reached a limit.
Verify that calibration procedure
has been properly performed.
Verify calibration per
instructions in this guide.
Check the CAMIDSPT to lens
cable.
Presets cannot be
recalled.
Unit is not calibrated.
Verify pot feedback
connections.
No personality board is
installed; incorrect personality
board is installed.
Check that personality board
matches lens type.
Lens functions do not
respond.
Camera and lens powered up
after the CAMIDSPT.
Power up camera and lens
before or at the same time as
the CAMIDSPT.
Calibration was not performed.
Perform calibration.
Unit hits hardstops.
Hardstops are less than ±30º
from the home positions.
Readjust hardstops.
Unit does not appear
to move in pan or tilt
mode, but the moving
output join is high.
The pan tilt speed/time analog
input join value is set for very
slow movement.
Adjust the speed or time
setting.
