PRESS TO CHANGE
DO QUICK SELFTEST setting – This function manually initiates a selftest to ensure
the battery pack is in good health and that the unit is operating properly.
NOTE:
When advancing to this screen, press the up/down arrow buttons to start the
selftest. During the selftest, the same screens that were previously defined in this
manual are displayed. (Refer to “Performing the System Test” which starts on page
22 for details.)

DO RUNTIME CAL setting – This function manually initiates a runtime calculation
test to calibrate internal measurements, which should result in more accurate runtime
estimates. This should be done once every six months or when the connected load
size changes significantly. Once initiated, the unit operates on battery power until a
low battery condition occurs.
NOTE:
Before initiating RUNTIME CAL, the battery must be at 100% capacity
(fully charged) and the load must be greater than 10% of the rated load.

DISPLAY-BEEP TEST setting – This function forces the unit to perform display
and beep tests. Simply press either the up or down arrow button. This causes all the
indicators and display fields to illuminate, as shown in the illustration on the
following page) and an audible beep to sound.

Display-Beep Testing Screen
SCREEN SAVER setting – This function forces the unit to continuously alternate
the message CEN-UPS POWER CONDITIONER WITH BATTERY BACKUP
between the two lines of fields on the display. This feature helps maintain display
quality as well as extending the life of the display.
NOTE:
Even when the screen saver is set to ON, the screen saver message displays
only when the system load is less than 5%.
