QM-MD5x1, Slot 1 Digital Input Signal Descriptions
INPUT DESCRIPTION
VideoEnter
Enables the video source select analogs, for as
long as the input remains high.
For most applications this input should be set
high, which will allow all video sources to
propagate to the outputs immediately.
High/1 (level sensitive) = Enable video switching;
Low/0 = Disable switching.
AudioEnter
Enables the source select analogs for program
audio and remote mic audio, for as long as the
input remains high.
For most applications this input should be set
high, which will allow all audio/remote mic
sources to propagate to the outputs immediately.
High/1 (level sensitive) = Enable audio/remote
mic switching; Low/0 = Disable switching
FrontPanelLock
Locks out the
LOCAL
button on the front panel
of the MD5x1 for as long as the input remains
high.
When this input is high, the user cannot switch
the unit into Local mode. If the unit is already in
Local mode, the activation of this signal will take
the unit back into System mode.
High/1 (level sensitive) = Lock out Local button;
Low/0 = Enable Local mode
RecallQMLink5Preset
[This signal is operative only if Auto
Compensation is NOT enabled.]
Recalls the peaking and boost values saved in
the preset given by
QMLink5Preset#
when the
input is held high.
The peaking and boost are applied at IN 5.
High/1 (level sensitive) = Recall preset (to IN 5);
Low/0 = No preset recall
SaveQMLinkPreset
Saves the peaking and boost values given by the
analog signal
QMLinkPeakToSave
and
QMLinkBoostToSave
to the preset given by the
analog signal
QMLinkPreset#ToSave
, when the
input is held high.
If the save is asserted at the same time as a
recall, the recall operation takes precedence and
the save is ignored.
High/1 (level sensitive) = Save preset;
Low/0 = No preset save
NOTE:
When the front panel is locked, the MD5x1 will switch to the system mode
and use the switch configuration and preset settings specified by the control system.
