RS-840 SYSTEM

The transmitter supplied with the RS-840 system has a total of 6 buttons.  The button configuration of the RS-840
is Factory-set and unchangeable.  See Page 11 for additional information on how to use your remote to operate a
second vehicle equipped with an RS-840 or other CoolStart™ system.

“COOLFLASH” BLUE LED FLASHLIGHT

Your remote control is equipped with a handy mini LED “CoolFlash” flashlight.  Press the upper side button of
your remote control to active the remote’s LED indicator as a flashlight.

NOTE: REMOTE START BUTTON DELAY

There is a deliberate delay built into the system on the remote start button to help prevent accidental remote
starting from the remote being in your pocket or purse.  During normal use, push the button deliberately for at least
a 1-second.  If you press the remote start button too quickly, the system may not accept the signal to start the
engine.
