4.3 Recharging the instrument
To recharge the batteries, connect the battery charger (S) to the connector
(C). If the instrument is on, it will automatically detect the connection of the
battery charger and will turn automatically off.
CAUTION!
FiberScanONE™ is a Class A device, the instrument cannot be used
during battery charging.
FiberScanONE™
is supplied with an Ansmann battery charger, able to
automatic charge Lithium-Ion battery packs, with a capacity of 7,2V 1200mAh.
4.4 Battery charger characteristics

The battery cherger include a 12 Volt power supply and a battery charger
usb socket ( fig.8)

The
FiberScanONE™
battery charger is suitable for worldwide use, thanks
to a switch mode power supply (100-240 V AC) and the exchangeable plug
set;
•
This battery charger is intended for use only with the instrument
FiberScanONE;
•
The battery charging is controlled by a microprocessor, during the whole
charging time;
•
It is provided with short circuit detection and electronic protection against
reversed polarity;
•
Constant current/constant voltage charging characteristic;
•
It is provided with short circuit detection, electronic protection against
reversed polarity and over charging protection;
