Make a figure-of-eight knot at one end of the
cord (Fig. C). Feed the cord through the eyelets
on the side chamber, finishing off with a figure-
of-eight knot (Fig. C) at the other end of the
cord.
Securing the stern splash guard and
seat (Fig. H)
1. Inflate all air chambers on the stern splash
guard (4).
2. Push the seat base down underneath the two
upper side chambers , to ensure that the
seat will stay firmly in place.
3. Tie the stern splash guard (4) to the eyelets
(1b) on the two upper side chambers ,
using a 285cm cord (9a) in a zigzag shape
(Fig. H).
Make a figure-of-eight knot at one end of the
cord (Fig. C). Feed the cord through the eyelets
on the side chamber, finishing off with a figure-
of-eight knot (Fig. C) at the other end of the
cord.
Triangular cushion
1. Inflate the triangular cushion (5).
2. Position the inflated triangular cushion (5) firmly
in the bow of the kayak.
Note:
The triangular cushion (5) serves as a foot
rest for the person sitting at the front of the kayak.
Assembling the double-bladed pad-
dle (Fig. B)
1. Push a drip ring (8) over each end of the
paddle shaft until the rings are sitting below the
locking button (6a) on the tapered part of the
shaft.
2. Push the two paddle shafts (6) into the mid-sec-
tion (7). Both locking buttons (6a) must click
audibly and visibly into place into the holes
(7a) in the mid-section (7).
Note:
The paddles can also be used individually
without the mid-section as single-bladed paddles
for 2-person canoeing.
Kit bag
A kit bag (15) is included with the product, which
can be used to carry and store the kayak.
Use the 200cm cord (9b) to tie up the bag.
The kit bag can also be used to protect provisions,
clothing etc. from spray on board the kayak.
Note:
Please note that the kit bag is not water-
proof. Do not store any sensitive objects such as
cameras in the kit bag.
When using it on board, remove the cord and
roll up the top end evenly. Then close the kit bag
using the Velcro fastenings.
Storage pouch
A spray-proof storage pouch (14) is also included
with the product, which can be fastened to the
rear of the front seat (3) using the Velcro fasten-
ings. Smaller objects can be kept in this storage
pouch.
Note:
Please note that the pouch is not water-
proof. Do not keep sensitive objects in this pouch.
Dismantling the kayak
Remove the front seat, stern splash guard and
seat, bow splash guard and triangular cushion.
Deflating
Deflate the kayak as follows:
1. To deflate the air chambers with stopper valves,
pull out the stopper valves (1d) so that they are
no longer flush with the chamber
(Fig. K) and squeeze the sides of the valve
gently together or use the deflation tube (12)
(Fig. N).
2. To deflate the chambers with screw-on valves,
unscrew the valves (10b) fully out of their bases
(1c) and let the air out completely
(Fig. J).
Disassembling the double-bladed
paddle
1. Press the respective locking button.
2. Pull the mid-section out of the paddle shaft.
Note:
The drip rings should be left on the paddle
shafts.
Carrying the kayak
The kayak should always be carried by two peo-
ple. Use the carrying loops on the bow and stern.
