1)
Always
operate and maintain the edger in accordance with the instructions
and procedures in this manual.
2)
Do not
exceed the capacity of the edger.
3)
Do not
open inspection doors while unit is in operation except in special
circumstances which are addressed later in this manual.
4)
Never
work on the edger and related components unless electrical power and
motor drive have been locked out and tagged.
5)
Do not
use edger for any purpose for which it was not designed. It is to be
used solely to edge glass within the specification limits listed in this manual.
6)
Do not
poke or prod into the openings of the edger with a bar or stick.
7)
Always
have a clear view of the loading and unloading points and all safety
devices of the edger.
8)
Always
keep area around edger, drive, and control station free of debris
and obstacles.
9)
Never
operate edger without guards and all safety devices in position and
functioning.
10)
Always
allow edger to stop naturally.
Do not
attempt to artificially brake
or slow the motion of the edger.
11)
Always
wear safety glasses, proper gloves, and other necessary safety
equipment while operating and maintaining the edger. When in doubt,
consult with shop safety representative.
