NOTE
Folding or unfolding the boom too
quickly may damage your boom.
WARNING
Ensure the working area is clear before
attempting to fold or unfold the boom!
DANGER
NEVER fold or unfold the boom when near
power lines. Fatal injury could result!
Your Hydralink MHL boom comes with a separate
manual with more in-depth instructions about
installation, adjustment, set up, maintenance and
use. Please refer to this manual before using your
Hydralink MHL boom.
In most cases, the Hydralink MHL boom will come
fitted to a Croplands linkage or trailed sprayer, or
will be installed for you by your dealer.
4. Once firmly in place, read the tractor operating
instructions on how to safely use the hydraulic
functions and how to adjust the speed of the oil
supply. Ensure any cable ties holding the boom
closed are first removed (these may have been
used to keep the boom closed for shipping).
5. Start the tractor and use the hydraulic controls of
your tractor to unfold the boom. ENSURE your
working area is clear before starting this process.
6. If the boom unfold/fold function is too fast or
too slow, use your tractor instructions to speed
up or slow down the hydraulic oil flow. Not all
tractors will have this adjustment, however most
modern tractors do. If your tractor does not, it
may be the lever used for the hydraulic remote
function may have to be carefully operated
with incremental hand adjustments to get the
fold/unfold speed to a satisfactory level.
Note – if the boom is folded ort unfolded too
quickly, damage to the boom may result.
