1 Welcome

The Crown

®

 180MA, 280MA and 1160MA are 

high-value mixer-amplifiers for commercial 
and industrial audio. They provide 4-ohm and 
constant-voltage outputs (70V and 100V). The 
mixer-amps are part of Crown’s Commercial 
Audio Series, which also includes mixers and 
power amplifiers. These low-cost units provide 
all necessary features in a simple building-
block format. 

1.1 Features

• 4 to 8 inputs, 1 to 2 amplifier output chan-
nels

• Ideal for commercial and industrial use

• Expandable by adding Crown Commercial 
Audio mixers or Commercial Audio power 
amplifiers (when available)

• Balanced Phoenix-type mic/line inputs; 
touch-proofed screw-terminal speaker outputs

• Independent Bass and Treble controls on 
each input

• Any input can be sent to any output

• Priority muting

• Advanced protection system includes output 
current limiting, DC protection, circuit breaker/
