5.5 setting up fuel
assembling the fuel bed
PERIODICALLY SMALL DEPOSITS OF SOOT MAY GATHER ON THE FUEL BED AND
BURNER, THIS MUST BE REMOVED BY REMOVING FUEL AND BRUSHING ANY
DEPOSITS WITH A SOFT BRUSH AND VACUUMING THE BURNER, THEN REPLACE
FUEL USING THE FOLLOWING PROCEDURE.
Place the base
ceramics
as shown on left
logs can then be
fitted as shown in
diagrams
Ensure that the
aeration slot on
rear of fire is not
covered by the
rear back log
The centre log
with branch sits
over the pilot with
the branch
positioned so the
pilot light is visible
when on
LEFT
the logs span from
the sides across
the centre log
ensure they are not
going to move
when positioned
No filling must be put into
the burner it must be left
