POWER ON/OFF
Press and hold the power/Channel selector for 2 seconds. (REFER TO FIG. 1)
VOLUME CONTROL
To adjust volume, press the volume up/down buttons. (REFER TO FIG. 1) Volume levels 1-15.
CHANNEL SELECTION
Rotate left/right on the power/Channel selector and scroll through to desired channel.
For your reference a list of the available channels, corresponding frequencies and guidelines for
their use and selection is printed on page 21. For Australia, channels 05 and 35 are reserved for
Emergency calls.
SETTING THE SQUELCH LEVEL
To select your desired squelch level, press on the power/Channel selector once and then rotate to
1 of 9 levels. Zero is off.
To enter the Menu features, press on the F button once. This allows you to scroll the menu and
customise as per your requirements.
