8. Safety instructions and disclaimer
Never attempt to open the device to perform repairs or changes. Avoid contact
with mains voltage. The device is only voltage-free when the mains plug has been
disconnected. Never short-circuit the product. Please disconnect the mains plug
when the device is not used or during thunderstorms. The device has not been
approved for outdoor use. Only use it in dry environments. Protect it against high
humidity levels, water and snow. Always keep the device away from high temper

atures.
Do not expose the device to any sudden temperature changes or strong vibrations,
as this could damage the electronic components. Check the device for damage be-
fore using it. The device should not be used when it has been subjected to impact
or damaged in any other way. Please take the national regulations and restrictions
into account.Do not use the device for any purposes other than those described in
these instructions This product is not a toy. Store it outside the reach of children
or intellectually disabled persons. Any repairs or changes to the device not carried
out by the original supplier will result in the expiry of any warranty or guarantee
claims. The device may only be used by persons who have read and understood
these instructions. The device specifications may change without any prior notice.
9. Instructions for disposal
Electrical and electronic devices may not be disposed of together with domestic
waste, in accordance with the European WEEE directive. Their components must
be separately sent for recycling or disposal, as toxic and hazardous components
may do long-term damage to the environment in the event of improper disposal.
As a consumer according to the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG),
you are obliged to return electrical and electronic devices to the manufacturer,
the point of sales or a specially set up public collection point free of charge at the
end of their service life. The relevant national laws provide detailed regulations.
The symbol on the product, the user manual and/or the packaging refers to such
regulations. This form of material separation, recycling and disposal of obsolete de

vices makes an important contribution towards the protection of our environment.
