Assembly

Inserting/Replacing the Battery 
(see figure A)

Using alkali-manganese or rechargeable batteries is
recommended for operation of the measuring tool.

The measuring tool is provided with batteries inserted.
Before putting into operation for the first time, remove
the safety strip in the battery compartment (“Remove
before Use”).

When the battery low indicator

 lights up, the bat-

teries/rechargeable batteries must be replaced.

To open the battery lid

remove the battery lid.

When changing the batteries/rechargeable batteries,
pay attention to the correct polarity according to the
representation on the outside of the battery lid.

Replace all batteries/rechargeable batteries at the
same time. Do not use different brands or types of bat-
teries/rechargeable batteries together.
