Weekly/monthly intervals
You should carry out a weekly check of the LED light values. The light
values in combination with the live preview visualization of the LED chip
and the correction curve will give you all the information you need about
the state of the system.
Clean dust and dirt from all linear guides once or twice a month. Keep the
guides free of dust. If necessary, lightly lubricate the guides. It is important
to clean the lower guide rail regularly. During production/imaging, dirt and
grime can detach from the screen frame and fall onto the guides. Remove
dirt and adhesive tape stains from the screen frame before inserting it into
the machine.
Check and clean the LED liquid cooling system once or twice a month. To
clean the external areas, use compressed air in combination with a vacu-
um cleaner. Please note that that you must turn off the machine and you
must lock the cooling fan in the system if you use compressed air. Also
check the fluid level of the coolant system. We would recommend using
the fluid delivered with the machine as a liquid coolant.

Biannual/annual intervals
•
Inspect and lubricate the ball bearing carriage and the rails of the linear
guide system. Clean the horizontal and vertical guide rails. Lubricate the
ball bearing carriage with grease or oil. Use grease that is in compliance
with DIN 51 825 -KP 2 K (lubricating grease NLGI class 2 in compliance
with DIN 51 818).
-KP 1 K or KP 0 K.
CST recommends using the following lubrication grease:
REXROTH Dyn-
alub 520
When using lubricating oil, CST recommends the following lubricating oil:
Klüber oil 4UH1-150N
or lubricating oil that is used with sewing ma-
chines.
•
Check the tooth belts on the horizontal and vertical linear drives. Clean
the entire length of the tooth belt with a clean cloth. Moreover, clean the
tooth belt discs if they are dirty. Check the entire length of the tooth belts
to see that they are clean and that they run over the toothed belt discs.
•
In the event of the tooth belt making a noise, lightly lubricate it with a
PTFE lubricant. This will make sure that the tooth belt runs cleanly.
