Mounting the Monitor
To mount the RS Monitor in an enclosure, follow these steps:
1. Slide the monitor into the cutout from the front.
2. From the back of the monitor, attach the six mounting clamps,
with their screws, to the back of the monitor in the spaces
provided for them, as shown in the illustration below. You
will place two clamps at the top and bottom of the monitor and
one on each side. The prongs at the bottom of each clamp
should face backward and should hook into the slots in each
space. The end of each screw should point toward the front of
the enclosure.
3. Tighten each screw against the front of the enclosure to a
torque of 0.5 lb./in.
After you have mounted the RS Monitor, you are ready to connect
the monitor to a computer, start up your system, and, if necessary,
set up the monitor. Instructions for these activities are described in
Chapter 4 of this manual, Connecting the RS Monitor to a
Computer.
