2. If your monitor is mounted on an adjustable arm, replace the
monitor mounting cover on the back cover of the monitor and
fasten the retaining screws that you removed in step 7 above.
3. Reinstall the unit in its enclosure or on its arm.
4. Re-attach the Power Input cable, Touchscreen cable (touch-
screen monitors only), and Video Input cable at the left side of
the monitor.
5. Reconnect the monitor to a power source.
6. Turn on the monitor and computer.
Replacing a Fuse
The RS Monitor uses a 3.15A fuse (IEC 127-2 sheet 1, fast-acting
type), which may need to be replaced.
To replace the fuse, follow these steps:
Warning Be sure to observe ESD precautions while working inside
the RS Monitor.
1. Open the back cover of the monitor (see the procedure for
Opening the back cover on page 55 of this manual).
2. Locate the old fuse at the upper left of the video controller
board on the inside of the back cover as shown below.
3. Remove the old fuse and replace it with a new one.
4. Close the back cover of the monitor (see the procedure for
Closing the back cover on page 56 of this manual).
