Connecting to a
Computer
You can connect your RS Monitor to the PowerStation RS PC or
to another computer that runs MS-DOS or Windows.
Important
Windows versions that will support the RS Monitor include
versions 95, 98, and NT.
Make sure that both your RS Monitor and computer are switched
off before you connect them. The connections are simple and are
described below.
Connecting to the
PowerStation RS PC
To connect your RS Monitor to the PowerStation RS PC,
complete the following steps:

Connect the 15-pin video cable to the Analog Video Input
port on both the monitor and the PC.
•
If you have a touchscreen monitor, connect the 9-pin touch-
screen cable to the Touchscreen port on the monitor and the
COM port on the PC that you will use for touchscreen com-
munications.
Note
The COM2 port on the RS PC is configured, by default, for
communication with the RS touchscreen monitor.
