ALTERNATOR
(1) GENERAL
The alternator is a belt-driven, 40 ampere, internally regulated alternator.
(2) REMOVAL
(a) Disconnect the wires
(b) Remove the mounting bolts.
(3) INSPECTION
(c) Inspect the alternator for general condition. Broken wires or damaged connectors
may be corrected in the field. All other repairs must be carried out by qualified
personnel as described in Section 6.1 of this manual.
(4) INSTALLATION
(a) Locate the alternator in place.
(b) Secure the alternator with the mounting bolts; torque the bolts.
(c) Attach the alternator wires
